I got a hamster!!

OMG I got a new hamster!! I was getting a hair cut and blue highlights when the salon lady asked my mom if she wanted a new pet. Since my house is like a pet shop my mom asked what kind a pet. When my mom found it was a hamster I automaticly shot her a face saying "can I pleeeeease have it!!??" My mom was reluctant(did I spell that right?)but she said sure. Right when she said sure I yelled "YESS!!" I'm so happy I have a hamster! Can someone give me some edvice on taking care of my hamster?

Don't get a metal wheel for hamstas because they tend to bash their faces on the support bars while running. And if it's a robo hamster I feel sorry for you, those things are eeevillllll.
